A New Chapter in the Juniper and Ivy Kitchen
At Juniper and Ivy, our kitchen has always been shaped by the people behind it—by their creativity, their connection to one another, and their commitment to the guest experience. As we continue to evolve, we’re proud to share a new chapter in our culinary leadership with two individuals who have been instrumental in defining who we are today.
Alex Penkin, Executive Chef

Alex Penkin steps into the role of Executive Chef after serving as Chef de Cuisine, continuing a journey that began on day one at Juniper and Ivy. For more than a decade, Alex has been an essential driving force in the kitchen, helping to shape the restaurant from its earliest days into what it is today.
Connection is at the heart of Alex’s approach to hospitality. He thrives in Juniper’s open-kitchen format, where the line between kitchen and dining room disappears—allowing him to engage directly with guests, share stories, and create memorable, personal experiences. For Alex, cooking is more than a craft; it’s a creative outlet, a way to celebrate the bounty of the region, and a means of bringing people together.
Khine Moore, Chef de Cuisine

Khine Moore steps into the role of Chef de Cuisine, bringing his own full-circle journey back to Juniper and Ivy. A member of the original opening team, Khine helped shape the foundation of the restaurant in its earliest days before continuing his culinary path with The Crack Shack, where he further developed his perspective and approach.
Now back at Juniper and Ivy, Khine brings both a deep understanding of the restaurant’s roots and a renewed sense of energy. Known for his creativity and thoughtful approach to innovation, he plays a key role in pushing the kitchen forward while staying grounded in what has always made it special. As he steps into this position, Khine is excited to continue evolving the menu and contributing to the next chapter of the Juniper and Ivy experience.
